CM IT Internship Program

Intern At Sigi Through The CM Punjab IT Internship Program

Sigi Technologies is an official host company partner of the Government of Punjab’s Chief Minister IT Internship Program. Fresh IT graduates spend four months on real client work at our Lahore office, with a PKR 50,000 monthly stipend paid by the program.

Sigi is a host company in this program, not its operator. The CM IT Internship Program is run by the Government of Punjab with PITB, and all applications go through the official portal: cmitinterns.punjab.gov.pk.

What is the CM Punjab IT Internship Program?

The Chief Minister IT Internship Program (CMITIP) is run by the Government of Punjab with the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), the Pakistan Software Houses Association (P@SHA), and the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB). It places recent IT graduates in registered software companies across Punjab for paid, on-site internships.

Sigi Technologies is an official host company partner of the program. As a host company, Sigi mentors interns on live product and client work — web, mobile, AI, design, and delivery — alongside our Lahore team. Applications, testing, and selection are handled by the program through its official portal, not by Sigi directly.

Program details checked against the official portal in October 2026.

Sigi and PITB: how the partnership started

In 2026, Sigi CEO Zeeshan Nawaz hosted Muhammad Haroon, Operation Coordinator at the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), and Naveed Ali, Regional Head of Partnerships & Collaborations in PITB’s Digital Skills Wing, at Sigi’s Lahore office.

The meeting covered the CM IT Internship Program 2026 and Sigi joining it as a host company, so fresh graduates can gain practical industry experience on real software projects.
